The Snow Goose.

Classic By Paul Gallico , Set in 1940 during the british evacuation from dunkirk. Philip Rhayader is an artist living a solitary life in an abandoned lighthouse in the marshlands of wartime Essex, He is crippled and and has chosen to live isolated from other people. The snow Goose is Brought wounded( it has been Shot) by Fritha a Local girl to Philip, who fixes it up. The Goose is a representation of the damaged world and of Philip Rhayaders soul.

It’s a very short book, a novella, anyhow, I loved the book, Here is An illustration in progress, the moment the Snow Goose returns for the fist time.
